It s still addictive but not a worthy successor to the franchise. Was convinced it was going to suck before playing it but its actually really good. I m an avid harvest moon player i ve sunken hundreds of hours into older games like a wonderful life friends of mineral town and harvest moon gbc 2 over the years and i can say this game is at the very least a mediocre game. I m 3 months late to this post but i just got light of hope on sunday and have already put a good 12 hours into it.

If you wan t a real hm play story of seasons. Light of hope brings the core harvest moon concepts to the table but it doesn t do anything more than that. In my personal opinion i wouldn t get light of hope especially for the price. I mean i personally enjoy it.
